Kaaawa dawn
The sun has been moving rapidly, with dawn coming earlier each day. The sun is now rising at 6:44, about 30 minutes earlier than a couple of months ago. This is our best index of the shifting season. We're at the beginning of Hawaii's traditional 6-month dry season, but it's already been a very dry winter.
